:) Hi there tubers,
Here is a view of my tube rod holders. The fittings are not cemented in so that I can reposition the rods as needed. The fitting are tight enough that they will not slip apart or rotate unless done so by force.ie: I might want the back rod over lapping the point of my bow whereas the front rod is positioned away from the point of my point of my tube. Not sure how I am going to mount the gattalin gun to keep away those pesty boaters. Good fishing to you buddy. One additional modification not shown here is where I cut the extender tubes back to 9" there by reducing the tendency of the whole configuration to less torque.

That design look nice. It looks like it will keep the rod butts dry as well as the reels. Nice job.:D

Take a pointer from catfishermen....

There's a toy slingshot on the market that is designed to catapult a small water balloon. The sling cup holds about a tablespoonfull of the vilest stinkbait that I make, and will cast it about 50 feet.

It makes the jetskiiers take a second look to see WHO it is in the boat....

Should work for a toober, too!

Hey there Dryrod,

Have you had a chance to check out the rod holders shown on the rapidreleaseco.com website. I don't know how easy they would be to tubize but it might be interesting.

All good advice,

Hey there JR, as you've probably figured out already, two of the greatest tubing accessory master minds have gotten together and came up with a concept of what a good tube should look like.

As soon as the design is finalized we will post a pic and offer them for sale. Until then.

Hey there Dryrod,

I was goofing off with Word's graphic functions and made an illustration on how I attached lanyards tethers to some of my conventional rods.

The illustration below is in the form of a jpg file attachment I made after scanning and running it thru Picture It.

It's easy enough I'll be doing more of these! Word is a lot easier to use than QuarkExpress or Illustrator for this simple type of illustration.

 Hi there JapanRon,
That is a really neat looking drawing. I never tried that procedure before. Will take a look at what is involved.

Hi Dryrod,

When I was hot for doing graphics a year or so ago I did one project where I actually 'composed' what I thought was the 10 most versatile flies in the US using illustrator.

These turned out good enough the teacher said she might have a buyer for the images but things never panned out!

Hint: You make all these different inter-changable parts and then just put them together accordingly! Easssssssssssssy

Hey there guys,

I figured that the attached lanyards/tethers to some of my conventional rods needed to be described further

The illustration below is of 3 different way you can secure either the tether, rod or rods.
