My father and I fished the salmon river last week with Jack Smith guide service. There were 10 men in the group. Fishing was pretty slow. Jack said the water was too cold. We managed to catch about eight steelhead within the group. Most fish were caught on nightcrawlers, but some were caught on black flies. My new gear from browning sure kept me warm and dry. I took a lot of pictures of the boats and river. If anyone is interested in seeing scenic pictures of the area, contact me and I would be happy to e-mail them to you.
