EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR
Fishing pressure continued to be low. A few anglers landed stocked rainbow trout that ranged from 10 – 12 inches. Night crawlers and PowerBait were landing the fish. The water is free of ice.
ECHO CANYON RESERVOIR
Ben Johnson from Nevada State Parks said that fishing pressure continued to be low. A few rainbow trout that averaged 10 inches were taken. PowerBait was the bait of choice. The water level is still low and still free of ice.
WAYNE E. KIRCH WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
Daniel Maes, NDOW Installation Technician, said that fishing pressure dropped off from the previous week. The few anglers that fished Cold Springs and Haymeadow Reservoirs reported good success for rainbow trout. The fish that were taken averaged 14 inches. PowerBait and night crawlers were landing the fish.
Daytime temperatures were in the high 50s and the nights dropped down into the low 20s. The water is still free of ice.
