EAGLE VALLEY RESERVOIR
Fishing pressure continued to be low. Rainbow trout fishing was rated as fair. The few anglers that fished were successful landing rainbow trout that measured 10 – 12 inches. PowerBait and worms were landing the fish.
ECHO CANYON RESERVOIR
Ben Johnson from Nevada State Parks said that fishing pressure was very low. No fish were creeled this past week. The water level is still low.
WAYNE E. KIRCH WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT AREA
Daniel Maes, Installation Technician, said that fishing pressure picked up from the previous week. Anglers fishing both Cold Springs and Haymeadow Reservoirs were successful landing rainbow trout. A few trout that measured 15 – 16 inches were taken. Anglers were very successful landing stocked rainbow trout that averaged 13 inches. The fish were taken with PowerBait and night crawlers.
Daytime temperatures were in the mid 50s and the nights dropped down into the mid-teens. The water is free of ice.
