Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) Creel Census Clerks said that fishing pressure continued to be low due to the weather front that came through the area.

A couple fishing from a boat in the Overton Beach area near the Overton Arm was successful landing 16 striped bass that ranged from 14 – 16 inches. A few catfish that averaged 2 ½ pounds were also taken. A Tilapia that weighed in at two pounds was also caught. All fish were taken with anchovies.

Anglers fishing for largemouth bass in the Echo Bay area reported that their success rate was very low. No fish were taken in the area.

Shore anglers fishing the Boulder Beach area reported that their success rate dropped from the previous week. A few striped bass that averaged 2 ½ pounds were taken with anchovies
